What the Vito Is, and What It Isn’t

The Vito is Mercedes’ large people carrier, a van-based vehicle fitted out for passengers. It’s roomier than a saloon and much easier to use than a limousine, with a tall roof, wide sliding doors and plenty of space for bags.

It isn’t a limousine, and we won’t pretend it is. There are no party lights or sound systems here. What you get is a comfortable, quiet and practical car that works well for people who care more about getting there together than about the look of the vehicle.

Seating, Doors and Where the Bags Go

Seats are arranged in rows, and the sliding side door gives wide access, which helps with older relatives, small children and anyone carrying a lot.

Luggage has its own space behind the rear row, so bags don’t sit on laps. For a group with suitcases, tell us the number when you enquire, as nine people with nine large cases may not fit.
