Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II EWB Hire: More Room, More Presence

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II EWB is made for occasions where space and presence matter. Its extended wheelbase gives rear passengers more room than the standard Phantom, while the familiar Phantom design keeps the arrival unmistakably Rolls-Royce.

It suits couples who want a grand wedding car with plenty of space in the back, as well as clients looking for a particularly comfortable chauffeur-driven journey.

What Does EWB Mean?

EWB stands for Extended Wheelbase. The Phantom Series II EWB has a longer wheelbase than the standard model, creating additional space for passengers in the rear.

For the person sitting in the back, the difference is simple: more room to stretch out and settle in. That’s especially useful when you’re travelling in formal clothing or spending a longer period in the car.

The Phantom Presence, with More Rear Space

The Phantom already has a substantial presence on the road. The EWB takes that sense of occasion further, with its long body and generous rear cabin.

It looks particularly impressive when pulling up outside a wedding venue, hotel or country house. The proportions also make it a natural choice when the car itself is expected to feature in photographs.

For a couple who wants a modern Rolls-Royce without giving up the feeling of space, the Series II EWB is an excellent option.

Rear-Seat Comfort for a Wedding Day

The rear cabin is where the EWB makes most sense.

There’s more room for passengers to stretch their legs, settle a wedding dress and travel without feeling confined. That can be particularly useful for a bride, groom or parents who want a comfortable journey between the collection address, ceremony and reception.

If you’re wearing a particularly large dress or have a long train, let us know before booking. We’ll be happy to discuss whether the EWB is suitable for your particular outfit.

A Grand Wedding Arrival

The Phantom Series II EWB works especially well for couples who want a contemporary wedding car with a formal presence.

It suits:

  • Country-house weddings
  • Luxury hotels
  • Church ceremonies
  • Civil ceremonies
  • City weddings
  • Large reception venues
  • Formal and black-tie celebrations

The car has enough presence to make an entrance without relying on vintage styling or a stretched limousine.

Phantom Series II EWB for Chauffeur Travel

The EWB isn’t only a wedding car. Its spacious rear cabin makes it well suited to executive and private chauffeur journeys where passengers want to travel in comfort.

It can be used for airport transfers, business travel, private events and longer journeys. The chauffeur takes care of the driving while you can concentrate on the journey, a meeting or simply enjoy the quieter rear cabin.

For larger groups, however, a 9-seater or other group vehicle may be more practical.

Series II EWB or Standard Phantom?

The main difference comes down to rear passenger space.

Phantom Series II: A grand modern Rolls-Royce with a spacious and luxurious rear cabin.

Phantom Series II EWB: The extended version, offering additional rear space and an even more substantial presence.

If you’re travelling alone or as a couple and don’t need the extra room, the standard Phantom may be enough. If rear comfort and space are high on your list, the EWB is worth considering.

EWB or Phantom VIII?

Both offer the distinctive Phantom experience, but they suit slightly different preferences.

The Phantom Series II EWB is an attractive choice if you want the extended-wheelbase format with its generous rear cabin and distinctive Series II styling.

The Phantom VIII offers the latest-generation Phantom design and contemporary interpretation of Rolls-Royce luxury.

If you’re choosing between the two for your wedding, tell us about the venue, dress and how you want the arrival to look. We can help you decide which suits the day better.

Is the Phantom Series II EWB Right for You?

The EWB makes sense if you want:

  • A spacious rear cabin
  • A grand modern wedding car
  • Extra room for formal clothing
  • A chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce
  • A strong presence outside a luxury venue
  • Comfortable travel for longer journeys

If you’re looking for something smaller and more discreet, the Mercedes S-Class may be a better fit. If you want genuine classic character, consider the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud instead.

Planning Your Phantom Series II EWB Hire

Tell us your wedding date, collection address, venue and number travelling. If you’re deciding between the standard Phantom, EWB or Phantom VIII, let us know and we can help you choose the car that best suits your plans.

We’ll check the vehicle and provide a clear price before you decide.
